Description:

Purple vienna kohlrabi is a quick, easy-to-grow, and nutrient packed microgreen. Microgreens in general are more nutrient dense than their full grown counterparts. Purple vienna kohlrabi is rich in Vitamins A, C, K and B, dietary fiber, carotenoids, calcium, potassium, iron, manganese, phosphorus, and copper. It is also loaded with antioxidants that protect against colon and prostate cancer. 

Micro Uses:

Purple vienna kohlrabi micros are a tender addition to any salad or sandwich, excellent in Vegan wraps as a flavor booster. It's sweet turnip flavor, alongside the hint of cabbage can add character to any slaw, soup, pie or casserole.

    1 Ounce of Seed When Used as a Micro:

    10" x 10" trays seeded (crops) = 3

    Best medium to grow in = More vigorous in coco coir, will grow well on hydro pads too

    One crop in a 10" x 10" tray will yield = About 4-5 ounces of micros

    Days from seed to harvest = 10-14

    Need to soak the seed before planting = no
